Halliburton and Baker Hughes scrap $28 billion merger

(Reuters) - Oilfied services provider Halliburton Co and smaller rival Baker Hughes Inc announced the termination of their $28 billion merger deal on Sunday after opposition from U.S. and European antitrust regulators.
