Magnitude-6.8 quake strikes India

A magnitude-6.8 earthquake occurred Monday morning in northeastern India, 33 kilometers (20.5 miles) from the city of Imphal, the capital of Manipur state, according the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.
