While Google says "NO!" any direct relationship between Google Plus content  on one hand and SEO rankings on other hand ,  oftentimes well-ranking sites have good Google Plus activity. In theory, this could be compltetely  coincidencidental, however,,. results do speak for themselves. Here are some reasons why Google Plus is especially important for SEO:

• Google owns it and no matter if they say it true  or not, common-sense and evidence shows popularity on Google Plus is a massive factor for good rankings.
