Working in Capitol, sleeping on the street

By day, 63-year-old Charles Gladden works in the U.S. Capitol cafeteria. By night, he sleeps on a sidewalk. "They scramble around for issues to talk about," he said, motioning to the Senate chamber behind him. "All they have to do is stop and ask the common person on the street."
