California Seeks to Make Way for Statue of Sally Ride in the Nation’s Capitol

If legislators have their way, the statue would replace that of the Rev. Junipero Serra, the 18th century Catholic priest who established a number of historic missions, in the National Statuary Hall Collection in Washington.
